BA(fine art)I am a printmaker/painter based  
  in  Lancashire,  who  was   born  in 1943  and  my 
  work is about war, women and rock and  roll.
  	  Sallycrowstudio is  a  home based workshop  
  were  I  print  and paint. I look  at  rights  and 
  wrongs and make images of these thoughts and ideas 
  that interest me.

          My  images  are in limited  edition  runs, 
  and  the etchings numbered in code. Every print is 
  etched in  the authentic  way  and  are individual 
  fine  art original  prints.  All the etchings  are  
  framed,  which  is an intergral  part of  my  work 
  and are made by myself.

          All my  etchings are  original prints, and 
  made  to my fine  art principles of originality of 
  ideas  and  craftsmanship. These  are then printed 
  using a copper plate that has  been placed in acid 
  and  the image  etched away by the acid. The image 
  is  then  printed   under  high pressure, using  a 
  homemade Intaglio etching press.
	    I  am  interested  in Art  Brut, yet  my 
  favourite group are the Brucke artists, who worked 
  in   the   early  twentieth  century,  the  German 
  Expressionists.
